Red Hawks fall to Cuyahoga 6-3

The Red Hawks lost 6-3 in seven innings on Saturday, despite outhitting Cuyahoga six to five.

Lou Matarazzo racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Red Hawks. He doubled in the first inning.

Cuyahoga couldn't get anything going as long as Austin Gardner was on the hill. Gardner held Cuyahoga hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out none.

Cuyahoga jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the top of the first. A solo home run started the inning off.

The Red Hawks scored two runs of its own in the first. The Red Hawks scored on a two-run double by Matarazzo.

Cuyahoga stayed on top until the final out after taking the lead in the third, scoring five runs on two doubles and a sacrifice fly.
