Patrick Henry pulls away late for 11-4 victory over the Red Hawks

While the Red Hawks hung tough on Sunday, Patrick Henry pulled away late for the 11-4 victory.

Lou Matarazzo was solid at the plate for the Red Hawks. Matarazzo went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the second inning and homered in the fourth inning.

The top of the first saw the Red Hawks take an early lead, 1-0. The rally started with a Clay Hodges doubled and a groundout by Trever Lee then moved Hodges from second to third.

The Red Hawks tallied one run in each of the third, fourth and eighth. In the third, the Red Hawks scored on a passed ball, plating Hodges.

The lead stayed with Patrick Henry after the third, when it scored three runs on a two-run single.

Patrick Henry survived the Red Hawks surge and put up three runs of its own in the fourth. Patrick Henry scored on an error, a fielder's choice, and a sacrifice fly.
