The Red Hawks scattered eight hits on Wednesday, but weren't able to push enough runs across, and lost 14-3 to Walter State.
After pushing across one run in the bottom of the fifth, the Red Hawks Varsity faced just a 6-3 deficit. A sacrifice fly by Danny Sullivan fueled the Red Hawks Varsity's comeback. Walter State stopped the rally after Jones got Randal Ortiz to strike out.
Walter State added five more runs in the top of the sixth.
