Ivan Acuna went 2-4, sparking the Red Hawks to a 4-1 victory in seven innings over Surry on Saturday.
He doubled in the first inning and singled in the third inning.Will Greene handled Surry's lineup with ease, racking up three strikeouts. Greene allowed one earned run on four hits and no walks over five innings.
The Red Hawks never surrendered the lead after the first inning, scoring two runs on an RBI double by Acuna and an RBI single by Brandon Ford.
The Red Hawks piled on two more runs in the top of the third. The inning got off to a hot start when Danny Sullivan singled, bringing home Acuna.
