The 2021 CVCC baseball program set numerous team and individual records in 2021, including best winning percentage (.759), runs scores (551), RBI (476), home runs (68) and doubles (140).

With a 12-5 victory against USC Union on Feb. 17, 2021, Rozzelle surpassed friend and mentor Frank Pait as the winningest head coach in CVCC baseball program history. He has a 228-124 overall record as Red Hawks head baseball coach.

Rozzelle led the Red Hawks to a 12-5 record during the pandemic-shortened 2020 spring season, including a 7-2 mark in Region 10 play.

During the 2019 season, CVCC set multiple team records during the season, including strikeouts by a pitching staff (487) and drawn walks (301).

In 2018, the Red Hawks were led to a program best 42 wins with a 42-16 finish and 18-7 mark in conference play. He coached three All-Region Players, including the program's first-ever Region Pitcher of the Year in Julian Smith, who went on to be the program's seventh-straight All-American. Coach Rozzelle also had two of his CVCC players drafted in the 2018 MLB Draft — Smith (L.A. Dodgers) and shortstop Garrison Burress (Arizona Diamondbacks).

Rozzelle led the Red Hawks to a 31-25 overall record and 16-10 mark in conference play during the 2017 season. He coached the program's and school's first-ever National Player of the Year and sixth-straight All-American in outfielder Chandler Jenkins, as well as the CVCC baseball program's third-straight Rawlings Gold Glove winner in catcher Riley Smith. On Sunday, May 14, Rozzelle also recorded his 100th victory as head baseball coach at CVCC with a 6-5 win against Wake Tech in the Region X/Southeast District tournament in Morehead City.

During the 2016 season, Rozzelle coached a Red Hawks team that went 30-25 overall and 14-6 in conference play. Under Rozzelle, the CVCC baseball program also recorded seven All-Region players and two All-Defensive Team selections, a Rawlings Gold Glove award winner and the program's fifth consecutive All-American. He also coached the program's first Region X Player of the Year in center fielder Ty Andrus.

Rozzelle guided the Red Hawks to a 39-19 record in his first year in 2015, including a fourth-straight regular season championship, a Region X and Southeast District Championship and a program-best third-place finish at the NJCAA World Series in Enid, Okla. During his first season as head baseball coach at CVCC, Rozzelle coached six All-Region selections, four All-Defensive Team selections, a Gold Glove Award winner and a First Team All-American. Rozzelle was awarded the NJCAA Southeast District Coach of the Year Award, as well as the Diamond/American Baseball Coaches Association Southeast Coach of the Year.

Rozzelle came back to Catawba Valley for the 2014 season where he served as the Catching Instructor as well as the recruiting coordinator. He helped coach four All-Region selections, as well as an All-American. The 2014 CVCC baseball team won a regular-season championship and finished with a school-best record in wins during a 41-14 campaign. He recruited Bryce Hensley who after his time at CVCC, moved on to UNC-Greensboro and was ultimately selected by the Kansas City Royals in the 2018 MLB Draft.

Prior to rejoining the Catawba Valley baseball program, Rozzelle served as the Strength and Conditioning coach at Bandys High School in 2013. He also served as an assistant baseball coach and helped the team to a conference regular-season and tournament championship while advancing to the second round of the 2A state playoffs.

Prior to Bandys, Rozzelle was an assistant baseball coach for Catawba Valley Community College in their inaugural season in 2010. He handled the Strength and Conditioning responsibilities for the CVCC's position players for the 2011 season and the 2012 Regional and District championship teams. During this time, Rozzelle owned a Strength and Conditioning facility in Hickory where he trained numerous collegiate All-Americans and professional athletes.

In 2013, Rozzelle was able to be a part of writing a book with Strength and Speed coaches around the country entitled, "The Definitive Guide to Youth Athletic Strength, Conditioning and Performance." Upon its release, the book reached best-seller status in two Amazon.com Exercise and Fitness categories — reaching No. 1 in both the “Injury Prevention” and “For Children” categories.

In the summer of 2014, Rozzelle coached the Morganton Militia, a collegiate summer baseball team with players from all levels of college baseball. The Morganton Militia included players from Canada, New York, Florida and Hawaii. Guided by Rozzelle, Morganton finished third in the league standings.

During the summer of 2015, Rozzelle coached the Statesville Owls of the Southern Collegiate Baseball League (SCBL) guiding them to a Northern Division Championship. Winning the division allowed Rozzelle to be tabbed the Northern Division Head Coach for the SCBL All-Star Game. The Owls included Division I and Division II players as well as a handful of former Catawba Valley players.

During the summer of 2018, Rozzelle coached for the USA Baseball NTIS (National Team Identification Series) which helps identify and select players from various age groups to become members of the USA National Team the following year.

Coach Rozzelle is also an Associate Scout for the New York Mets helping to cover Western North Carolina.

On top of his baseball coaching duties at CVCC, Rozzelle also works as the assistant athletic director for the CVCC Atheltics Department and helps oversee fundraising for the department.
