BELMONT, N.C. — In just her second game back from a knee injury, guard Tory Agrusa scored a team-high 16 points, leading the Catawba Valley Community College women's basketball team to an 88-56 victory against the Belmont Abbey JV team on Sunday.

Center Zharia Brown added 15 points in the win for CVCC, which improves to 3-1 overall on the season.

Red Hawk sophomores Nikkyana McCaskill and Shaniya Lester also reached double digits in scoring in the contest with 12 and 11 points, respectively.

The Red Hawks return to the court on Tuesday for a road non-conference contest against the Mount Olive junior varsity squad. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m.
