At CVCC: Signed to play volleyball for the Red Hawks on March 22, 2019....tallied 590 assists, 52 aces, 259 digs and 145 kills during her first season with the Red Hawks in 2019...Barker returned to the Red Hawks in 2020-21 season, leading Catawba Valley with 748 assists...her 1,338 assists ranked fourth in a career...received All-Region 10 first team honors during the 2020-21 season.
Prep career: Played high school volleyball for the GCAA Stallions, leading her team to a championship at the Carolina Classic and second-place finish at the Blaer Blast and state championships in 2016...helped the Stallions finish first in conference play in back-to-back seasons (2017-18) and a state championship in 2016...played for head coach Carl Gamprell...also played basketball for GCAA.
Personal: She is the daughter of Melanie and Daryl Barker...she is the sister of D.J., Brooke, Samuel, Madison, Marshall and Everett Barker.
