Head Coach, Paul Rozzelle, claims his 100th career win.

Facing elimination in the Region 10 Southeast District tournament the Red Hawks pulled off a 6-5 win over #6 Wake Tech.  The win marked Head Coach, Paul Rozzelle's 100th win as a head coach, all at Catawba Valley.

Paul Rozzelle took over the helm of the Red Hawks after a former Head Coach, Frank Pait resigning in the middle of the 2015 season.  In his first season Rozzelle guided the Red Hawks to a 39-19 season finishing 3rd in the NJCAA World Series after claiming the Region X and Southeast District titles.  In his first season Rozzelle was named Southeast District Coach of the Year.

In his last 3 season Rozzelle has gone 100-68 and has posted a winning season in conference every year.  Rozzelle has also coached numerous All-Region X players including 2 Region X Player of the Year award winners, Ty Andrus and Chandler Jenkins; and Region X Defensive Player of the Year, Riley Smith.  Rozzelle also has coached two All-Americans, Danny Sullivan and Ty Andrus, two Rawlings Gold Glove winner, Mykel Davis & Ty Andrus, and a Marucci Elite Hitter winner, Danny Sullivan.

Rozzelle has also seen over 30 players sign or continue their playing career at universities and has seen the team GPA increase to program bests over the last 3 years.
