HICKORY, N.C. — The Catawba Valley Community College softball program has announced their first-ever Red Hawk Prospect ID Camp on Saturday, Oct. 19 from 9 a.m. until noon. The camp will be held at the Highland Recreation fields in Hickory, and it is open to all high school softball players who are in the ninth grade or higher who are interested in the Red Hawks softball program.

Instruction will be provided by Red Hawk head softball coach Josh Bumgarner and assistant coaches Mia Blochaviak and Ty Triplett.  The camp costs $20 per participant.

CAMP INFORMATION

• Date: Saturday, Oct. 19
• Times: 9 a.m. until noon
  
• What to Bring: Pants, T-shirt, glove, cleats, bat and helmet (all items you'd need for a game)
• Where: Highland Recreation Fields
              1451 8^th St. Dr. NE
              Hickory, NC 28601
• Cost: $20 payment due prior to start of camp.
