HICKORY, N.C. — The Catawba Valley Community College softball program is hosting a Winter Prospect Camp on Saturday, Dec. 2 from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. at Stanford Park in Hickory.

The CVCC Winter Prospect Camp will consist of defensive and hitting sessions followed by a controlled scrimmage, which will be coached by current CVCC coaches and players. Prospective student-athletes attending the camp must be age 13 and older.

The camp fee is $125 and can be paid the day of check in.

There will also be a special guest instructor at the camp — Hickory native and UNC softball standout Abby Settlemyre, who was 2023 All-ACC First Team and led the Tar Heels in RBI's, doubles, total bases and slugging percentage this past season.
