Red Hawks Volleyball falls just short of Championship match losing to #1 Parkland in Semifinal

In their first apperance in program history to the semifinal round the Red Hawks Volleyball team just did not have enough to get past the #1 seed Parkland College.  The Red Hawks fell 0-3 to a team that has been ranked #1 every week except for 1 in the NJCAA polls.

The Red Hawks were led by power trio Megan Fair, MaKala Bozman and Mariah Wallace who each had 8 kills.  Bozman was responsible for 3 blocks and 10.5 points for the Red Hawks.  Wallace led the team in digs with 13, while Ada Thompson logged 28 assists.

The loss cut the Red Hawks program best run 1 match short of the National Championship match.  The team will face #2 Owens CC in the third place match at 3:00pm on Saturday, Nov 19.  The Championshiop match will see #1 Parkland play #3 Lincoln Land CC directly following the Red Hawks match.
