Prep career: DeJarnette finished her senior season at Alexander Central High School with 163 kills, 26 assists, 38 blocks and 154 digs....shehelped lead the Cougars to a 17-8 overall and 10-4 in Northwestern 3A/4A volleyball games this past fall season, including a second-round appearance in the North Carolina High School Athletic Association (NCHSAA) playoffs...she also helped guide Alexander Central to its 10th state softball championship this past June...she is joined on the Red Hawks by former ACHS teammates Chesney Millsaps and Sage Harrington.

Personal: She is the daughter of Tara and Brian DeJarnette...plans to complete her Associate in Science degree at Catawba Valley.
